Our Approach
Creating a Bright New Living Space
First, we removed the existing garage door and installed a large window in its place. This instantly brought natural light into the front section of the conversion and helped the new living area feel like a natural extension of the home.
Adding a Dedicated Home Office
Next, we created a separate office space at the rear of the garage. To ensure the room felt bright and comfortable throughout the day, we installed an additional window on the side elevation.
As a result, the office provides an ideal environment for tutoring sessions and day-to-day business activities.
Installing High-Quality Finishes
Once the structural work was complete, we focused on the interior finishes. We installed herringbone flooring throughout both rooms to create a modern and consistent look.
This not only enhanced the appearance of the conversion but also helped connect the two spaces visually.
Improving Light and Flow
Finally, we installed glazed internal doors between the rooms. These doors allow natural light to travel throughout the conversion while still providing privacy and separation when needed.
As a result, both rooms feel bright, open, and spacious.
