New Warm Roof Extension in Croston
We recently completed this extension project in Croston, transforming an existing timber infill conservatory into a modern, comfortable and practical living space.
The existing conservatory had become rotten and was starting to leak, so we demolished the structure to make way for a new warm flat roof infill extension. The new space has created a light and spacious area that makes the most of the views across the client’s garden.
Warm Flat Roof Extension
A key part of the project was the installation of a warm flat roof system, providing improved insulation and creating a comfortable space that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
A Korniche roof lantern was incorporated into the design, bringing additional natural light into the extension and helping to create a bright, open feel.
Bespoke Features and Finishes
The extension includes a number of bespoke features and carefully selected finishes to complement the existing property.
Cortezo bi-folding doors provide a seamless connection between the new living space and garden, while matching render helps the extension blend naturally with the existing property.
To the front elevation, we added bespoke Sapele timber detailing, providing a distinctive finish and adding character to the exterior.
Heating and Interior Finishes
Inside the extension, underfloor heating provides efficient and comfortable heating throughout the space, while LVT flooring offers a durable and practical finish.
A log burner completes the room, creating a warm and welcoming focal point for the new living area.
The Finished Result
This Croston extension has replaced an outdated and deteriorating conservatory with a more permanent, energy-efficient and practical space.
The combination of the warm flat roof system, roof lantern, bi-folding doors, bespoke timber detailing and carefully considered interior finishes has created a bright and comfortable room that the clients can enjoy all year round.
