This is an extension and balcony project our team recently completed in Chorley. Even though the extension was a relatively small addition to the existing structure, it made a big difference internally, creating a bright and spacious room with fabulous views over looking the canal.
Building a Balcony With a View
We removed the old existing balcony to make room for the new extension. We installed the new balcony using new timbers, 18mm plywood and Sarna-fil membrane. Our team then fitted grey composite decking and a new contemporary looking glass balustrade to the customer’s specification.
Bespoke Internal Storage Units
We opened up the back of the house using steel beams to our structural engineer’s specifications. The removal of the wall created a much larger and open plan feel to the existing downstairs room. We installed bespoke wall storage units and under stairs storage. The addition of new Aluminium Bi Folding Doors gave a stylish and contemporary finish to the extension.
